TechCrunch Disrupt SF

At TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2015, TechCrunch Video Executive Producer Sarah Lane asked Atom Factory Founder & CEO and investor Troy Carter:

There’s Uber. There’s Airbnb. There are these huge companies that started a business plan with a great idea and ended up being something that is literally changing people’s lives. What is the next big market? Do you feel like you’re waiting for somebody to come along with an idea that hasn’t been tackled yet, that has that kind of potential?”

Troy Carter responded:

One of my favorite companies that we have invested in is…They figured out that Millennials don’t care about a 401(k). Employers are having a lot of retention issues retaining Millennial talent. They’ve built out this product where they match a student loan dollar for dollar the same way they would have matched a 401(k) dollar for dollar. It’s fantastic.”
